Hi, I’m Kelly!

I'm the girl behind the lens. I'm a natural light portrait photographer. A Wife and Mother of two girls. I have recently relocated from the Hunter Valley in NSW back to my beautiful hometown of Darwin. I was born and raised here. Growing up on the land surrounded by horses and cattle, dust and dirt. I am super excited to be back and photographing in this gorgeous place, the sunsets still blow my mind!

As an accredited professional and award winning family photographer, My authentic, emotive and natural style photography has become sort after by those wanting to celebrate their family memories and milestones. Photography is now a part of who I am, a part of how I express myself and share my gifts. I constantly challenge myself to grow as an artist and find the true magic in everything!

I have always loved photographs…. Their inherit way of intimately freezing a moment in time. I want to document those moments for your family that showcase who you are and your love for one another…. Those real, raw, tangible moments that are uniquely yours. I work to provide authentic, emotive joyful and timeless heirlooms… Images you will cherish that will stand the test of time and tell your story.

If you’re looking for a traditional “everyone look at the camera and say cheese”, photographer – I may not be the one for you. I’m not much into posing. I get a nice mix of authentic and staged poses but I prefer to photograph clients the way they are, playing, cuddling, smooching, letting the wind blow through their hair, and naturally interacting. I’d like to think my work is real, raw and intimate.

A FEW FUN FACTS ABOUT ME!

• When I left school I became a hairdresser. I then traveled around Australia. After many awesome jobs, working in pubs, pouring beer, picking grapes, rouse about, working for a racehorse trainer, being a live in nanny for a vet nurse on a large sheep property to driving 300tone dump trucks and graders in the mines.

• I married my husband in 2007 we have two gorgeous girls that drive me nuts, 2 Jack Russell's, one very old cat and 3 horses.

• I swear way too much, (my husband says its my second language) 

• I love all things boho and earth tones

• I love helping others, hanging out with like minded entrepreneurs, especially if they drink wine. I’m an open book, you can ask me anything!

• I am a vegan living on a farm... Don't laugh!! haha
